37th BCS: 787 more recommended for non-cadre posts

Some 787 applicants have been recommended for non-cadre posts from 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the information on Tuesday.

According to PSC, these candidates will be recruited under 10^th grade. These officers will be posted in different government offices including Statistics Bureau, Finance Ministry, Labour and Employment Ministry etc.

So far a total of 692 candidates have been appointed as class one officers and 98 as class 2 officers from the 37th BCS.

A total of 3,454 were kept waiting for recruitment in the non-cadre posts from the 37th BCS. The candidates would be recruited subject to the vacancy of posts.

Some 4,768 candidates passed in the written and viva voce examinations in 37th BCS. A total of 1,314 candidates were recommended for the recruitment in the cadre posts.
